What is Ad-Memoire?

Ad-Memoire is a digital reminiscence activity resource featuring some of the UK’s best loved vintage TV commercials and print ads (1950s-70s) from the collections of The History of Advertising Trust.

A great prompt for older people, including those living with dementia, the resource inspires happy memories of the brands, fashions, technologies and popular culture of the era. Ad-Memoire provides carers and activities co-ordinators with a ready-made option for weekly reminiscence sessions.

How to Access Ad-Memoire

Ad-Memoire can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play Store or accessed online. It can be used on a tablet, smartphone or web browser and connected to a TV screen for group sessions.

Access to the resource is available to care organisations as a monthly or yearly subscription.

Updated each month, Brand Bingo is a weekly activity based on the popular, classic game but featuring on-screen images of colourful 1950s & 60s print ads instead of numbers.
