What is Ad-Memoire One to One?
Ad-Memoire ‘One to One’ is a digital reminiscence activity resource featuring some of the UK’s best loved vintage TV commercials (1950s-70s) from the collections of The History of Advertising Trust.
A great prompt for older people, including those living with dementia, the resource inspires happy memories of the brands, fashions, technologies and popular culture of the era. A valuable tool for relatives and friends to engage with their loved ones.
How to Access Ad-Memoire
Ad-Memoire can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play Store or accessed online. It can be used on a tablet, smartphone or web browser and connected to a TV screen.
Access to the content is available per device as a monthly or yearly subscription.
Using Ad-Memoire sparked some memories that I thought I’d forgotten all about. I really liked the one for hair perms because it made me remember sitting in a chair for hours with all wire things in my hair!
